Axis Energy, in partnership with Lumara Energy, will develop a 400 MW solar power project at Nandipadu village in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district, strengthening renewable energy capacity in the state.
The project is targeted for commissioning in 2027 and is expected to generate employment opportunities for local communities during both construction and operations.
Axis Energy To Execute EPC Works
Axis Energy will undertake the complete engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works for the solar project.
The company will also develop a 400 kV Pooling Substation (PSS) and an associated 400 kV transmission line to connect the project with the Kurnool III CTUIL Substation.
The transmission infrastructure will enable evacuation of electricity generated by the solar plant to the national grid.
Partnership Targets Renewable Energy Expansion
The partnership combines Lumara Energy’s capabilities with Axis Energy’s expertise in renewable energy development and EPC execution.
The project is aimed at supporting the development of renewable energy infrastructure and contributing to India’s energy transition and long-term sustainability goals.
The partnership also strengthens Axis Energy’s presence in the renewable energy sector, where its capabilities span solar, wind, transmission and balance-of-plant infrastructure.
