Eastman Auto & Power has appointed Rajesh Jindal as its Chief Executive Officer, bringing in an industry veteran with more than 34 years of experience across sales, marketing and product management. Jindal joins Eastman after a long stint at Amara Raja Energy & Mobility, where he most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer for the automotive batteries business in India.
He spent 24 years at Amara Raja, working across sales and marketing and gaining experience in distribution networks, channel partnerships, product development and go-to-market strategy. Jindal holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a Master of Business Administration.
Focus On Growth And Market Expansion
In his new role, Jindal is expected to support Eastman's growth strategy, including strengthening its market presence, distribution network and customer and channel relationships. His previous experience includes developing go-to-market strategies, strengthening distribution channels and building sales and marketing teams.
Eastman Auto & Power operates across the energy storage and power solutions market. The appointment comes as the sector sees increasing demand for battery and energy solutions alongside the expansion of renewable energy and electric mobility in India. Jindal's appointment adds significant automotive battery industry experience to Eastman's leadership as the company looks to pursue its longer-term growth plans.
