Enviro Infra Engineers has secured a Letter of Intent (LOI) worth Rs 224.19 crore, including GST, from Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd for engineering, procurement and construction works for a 180 MW NTPC wind power project at Parli in Maharashtra.
The order has been awarded to Enviro Infra Engineers through its step-down subsidiary, Suyog Urja Ltd. The project is scheduled to be executed by March 31, 2027. Enviro Infra Engineers shares rose 4.70 per cent following the development, touching an intraday high of Rs 215 on the NSE.
Project Covers 58 Wind Turbine Foundations
The scope of the contract includes Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) foundation works, Balance of Plant (BoP) infrastructure and 33 kV transmission line works. The WTG package covers civil foundation works for 58 wind turbine generators, along with the supply of reinforcement steel and geotechnical requirements.
Under the Balance of Plant component, Suyog Urja will develop an approximately 39-acre storage yard and undertake the coordination and management of Right of Way (ROW) for material movement. The scope also includes permanent and temporary access roads, pathways, crane pads and other associated civil and infrastructure works.
33 kV Transmission Infrastructure Part Of Contract
The transmission component includes construction and commissioning of the 33 kV transmission line. It covers route surveys and design, supply and erection of poles or towers, conductors, insulators and associated hardware. Suyog Urja will also undertake ROW-related activities for the transmission infrastructure and install STATCOM and harmonic filter systems.
The contract value excluding GST is Rs 189 crore. Enviro Infra Engineers said the project expands its presence in the wind EPC segment and complements its activities across solar, wind and energy storage infrastructure.
Enviro Infra Shares Rise Nearly 5%
Enviro Infra Engineers' stock has gained 4.53 per cent in the current calendar year but is down 14.47 per cent over the past year. The company operates primarily in water and wastewater infrastructure and has a presence across 17 states in India. Its operations include the design, construction and operation of Water Treatment Plants (WTPs), Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs), Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs) and Water Supply Scheme Projects (WSSPs).
