Genus Innovation Expands Into Energy Storage, Hybrid Solar Solutions

Genus Innovation is expanding its portfolio beyond conventional power backup into Energy Storage Systems (ESS) and Renewable Energy Management Solutions (REMS), with a focus on lithium-ion storage, hybrid solar inverters and battery management systems.

The company has recently rolled out its Hi-FLO Hybrid Solar Inverter and lithium battery range. Its portfolio also includes the MaxiLion Lithium Inverter, which combines an inverter and lithium-ion battery in an integrated system. The MaxiLion system is designed for residential and small-business applications and offers lithium-based power storage with faster charging, longer battery life and lower maintenance compared with conventional backup systems.

Hybrid Solar, Storage Form Part Of Expansion
Genus Innovation's Hi-FLO Hybrid Solar Inverter integrates rooftop solar generation, battery storage and grid electricity. The system is designed to manage power from the three sources and cater to residential and commercial users adopting rooftop solar and storage.

The company has also developed Battery Management System (BMS) capabilities to support battery safety, efficiency and lifecycle management. Together, the lithium-ion inverter, hybrid solar inverter, BMS and energy management technologies form Genus Innovation's ESS and REMS portfolio as the company expands into distributed energy systems.

Genus Innovation currently has manufacturing capacity of more than 750,000 units and a distribution network of over 10,000 retail partners. The company said it has served more than five million customers. The company is positioning its existing manufacturing and distribution network to expand its presence in energy storage, rooftop solar integration and renewable energy management.
