Hindustan Power Achieves Financial Closure For 435 MWp Solar Project In Uttar Pradesh

Hindustan Power has achieved financial closure for its 435 MWp/300 MW solar power project in Lalitpur district, Uttar Pradesh, with the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) sanctioning debt of Rs 1,135 crore. Construction on the project is underway. The project has a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) and was awarded through a competitive bidding process in 2025. The 435 MWp project is among the larger solar projects being developed in Uttar Pradesh and will add renewable power generation capacity to the state.
