Jakson Infra has secured a Rs 128.21 crore contract from Resonia Limited for the supply and construction of a 400 kV double-circuit transmission line in Karnataka.
The project covers the middle section of the Jagalur–Kadakola transmission line and spans about 90.07 km.
The project forms part of a broader transmission scheme involving the establishment of a 400 kV substation at Hampapura and associated transmission lines in Mandya district. The larger project was awarded to Resonia Limited by REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited through the tariff-based competitive bidding route.
Scope Includes EPC, Testing And Commissioning
Under the contract, Jakson Infra will undertake engineering, procurement, supply, construction, testing and commissioning of the designated transmission line section.
The project is expected to strengthen Karnataka’s transmission network and support grid reliability as electricity demand in the state rises.
