Swedish Arm Bags Substation Project
Linjemontage secured the SEK 200 million contract from Ellevio AB through a public procurement process. The project involves the refurbishment and expansion of an existing 130 kV substation at Repbäcken in Borlänge, Sweden, and is expected to be executed over three years. The project is intended to increase redundancy and capacity in the electricity grid. It includes the construction of a new 130 kV substation within an expanded substation area and its connection to the existing facility. The existing substation will remain operational during construction.

At a later stage, Ellevio plans to connect four new overhead lines to the new substation, along with a new 400 kV bay that will connect to Svenska kraftnät's transmission grid. The project will be executed on a turnkey basis and includes foundation and civil works, construction of a control building, control equipment, assembly and installation, testing and commissioning. Work is expected to begin immediately following the signing of the contract, with final inspection scheduled for October 15, 2029.
