KEC International has secured new orders worth Rs 1,303 crore across its Transmission and Distribution (T&D) and Cables and Conductors businesses, taking its year-to-date order intake in FY27 to more than Rs 7,600 crore.
The latest orders span India, the Middle East and the Americas and include high-voltage transmission infrastructure as well as the supply of towers, hardware and cables.
Hydropower Evacuation Project In India
In India, KEC International has secured an order for a 400 kV transmission line in northern India for evacuation of electricity from a hydroelectric power project.
The project adds to the company's domestic T&D portfolio at a time when transmission infrastructure is being expanded to accommodate new generation capacity and strengthen electricity evacuation networks.
In the Middle East, the company has secured orders for 380 kV transmission lines in Saudi Arabia. It has also received orders for the supply of towers and hardware in the Americas.
The Cables and Conductors business has secured orders for supplying various types of cables and conductors in India and overseas markets.
FY27 Order Intake Crosses Rs 7,600 Crore
The Rs 1,303 crore of fresh contracts takes KEC International's FY27 year-to-date order intake beyond Rs 7,600 crore. The company had reported an order intake of Rs 6,303 crore at the end of the first quarter.
Its consolidated order book and L1 pipeline stood at more than Rs 40,000 crore as of June 30, 2026.
The new contracts come after KEC International reported consolidated revenue of Rs 5,024 crore for the first quarter of FY27. Consolidated net profit declined 42 per cent year-on-year to Rs 73 crore from Rs 125 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
The company reduced its consolidated net debt to Rs 6,568 crore as of June 30 from Rs 6,722 crore at the end of March 2026. Its net working-capital cycle also improved to 134 days from 137 days.
KEC International operates across power transmission and distribution and other infrastructure EPC segments, with projects spanning domestic and international markets.
