RMC Switchgears has received Letters of Award worth Rs 14.98 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for off-grid solar photovoltaic water pumping systems in Maharashtra. The order covers the design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems of 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP capacity at identified farmer sites across the state.
The contract also includes system warranty, repair and maintenance, and a Remote Monitoring System for five years. The order has an execution period of five years. The systems will be deployed under the ‘Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump’ Yojana/PM-KUSUM Component B scheme.
The contract is structured as an empanelment and rate contract and has been awarded by a domestic entity. The company has also stated that the transaction does not involve its promoter or promoter group and does not qualify as a related-party transaction.
