Waaree Transpower Private Limited, a subsidiary of Waaree Energies, has secured an order worth about Rs 160 crore from a global energy storage technology and solutions provider for the supply of 8.3 MVA medium-voltage skids for battery energy storage system applications.

The company said shipments under the order began in July 2026. The equipment is designed as an IEC-compliant, plug-and-play containerised solution housed within a 20-foot container for use in large-scale BESS projects.

Order Expands Waaree’s BESS Presence

The skid configuration is designed to enable transportation, installation and deployment across different project locations and international markets. The company said the units are also shippable and stackable, allowing flexibility in large-scale energy storage deployment. Viren Doshi, Director, Waaree Energies, said, “Securing this order is an important milestone for Waaree Transpower as we expand our presence in the global BESS ecosystem. Our containerised MV Skid solutions combine engineering capability, standardisation and deployment flexibility.”

He added that the order strengthens the company’s confidence in building Waaree Transpower as a globally competitive electrical infrastructure partner for energy storage projects. Waaree Transpower manufactures distribution and power transformers, substations and customised electrical solutions for utilities, renewable energy projects and industrial applications.
